The Australian Institute of Management is authorised by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship to assess the following qualifications as a provisional assessment for the purposes of the meeting the requirements for the Skilled-Graduate (subclass 485) Visa:

- How long will the assessment process take?
Providing that all required information is submitted to AIM at the time of lodging your application form and payment, your qualifications assessment will be completed within 2 weeks and your result will be sent to you via email.
- Does AIM offer immigration advice?
No, AIM does not offer immigration advice to applicants wanting to know if they should submit an application to have their qualifications assessed. AIM recommends that all applicants directly contact the Department of Immigration and Citizenship for advice about their specific visa requirements prior to submitting their application to AIM. AIM will assess all qualification applications submitted. It is the applicant's responsibility to confirm if a qualifications assessment is required prior to submitting an application to AIM. - How much does a qualifications only assessment cost?
For the Skilled-Graduate (subclass 485) Visa, the cost of the qualifications only assessment is a non-refundable fee of AUD$350.00 (ex GST). Note: applicants residing in Australia are required to pay an additional fee of AUD$35.00 for GST purposes.
- What is the criteria which will be applied to my qualification assessment application?
Applicants must have a qualification which is highly relevant to the nominated occupation for assessment. The major area of study must be in the same field as the nominated occupation. The major area of study is determined by the number of units completed in the related field (This is generally 25% for a four year Bachelor degree course, or 33% for a 3 year Bachelor degree course). Additionally, the application’s qualifications must meet the required education level for the nominated occupation as per the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
